Florida State landed a major offensive line target Monday. Three-star center Jake Slaughter out of Ocala Trinity Catholic announced on his Twitter account that he is committing to continue his career at FSU. “I am beyond blessed and excited to announce my commitment to Florida State University,” Slaughter said in a tweet with a few accompanying images of his FSU visits. Slaughter currently ranks as the sixth overall center and 585th overall prospect in the 2021 recruiting class according to the 247Sports composite rankings. FSU was one of the first schools to get in on Slaughter early in his recruitment. He was offered by the previous coaching staff last July and was quickly followed up on by the new coaching staff shortly after it was assembled.
