Six cows fell off a truck on a Florida interstate Tuesday morning, killing three of the animals and causing a traffic jam for more than two hours, authorities said. The cows were scattered along the northbound and southbound lanes, and authorities believe the animals were thrown from a truck, the FHP said in its release. The owner of the vehicle was not in the area, the Times reported. Officials with the FHP, Pasco County Sheriff’s Office and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission are working to find the owner of the truck, the television station reported. State troopers, deputies and wildlife officials gathered to investigate on Interstate 75 north of Tampa after six cows were thrown from a truck. (Florida Highway Patrol)
