Gateway’s Own Fine Folk Pizza Launches Holiday Initiative To Sustain Success

FORT MYERS, Fla (December 2, 2019)— The team at Fine Folk Pizza are thinking outside of the pizza box this holiday season. The brains behind the award-winning business, Michael DeNunzio, Brianne Chrisenberry, and Christopher Batties, aim to swap Southwest Floridians’ preferred holiday treats with freshly made pizza pies. By blending their business acumen and their passion for the local community, Fine Folk Pizza aspires to sustain the monumental growth that the business has experienced throughout the past 12 months.

The year 2019 was a big year for Fine Folk Pizza. After winning the Caputo Cup Championship for Top Non-Traditional Pizza for the second year in a row, appearing on America’s Funniest Home Videos, and visiting local television stations and elementary schools, the year-long triumphs at Fine Folk Pizza culminate with innovative solutions to maintain their successes through the end of Q4.

Enter, the PIZZA SANTAGRAM.

“This holiday season, we wanted to reach out to the community and create a unique promotion to not only spread holiday cheer but to also encourage sales during a period of time when pizza is not always a priority,” said Mike DeNunzio, restaurant consultant and one of the owners of Fine Folk Pizza Fort Myers.

Fine Folk Pizza aims to swap your sweet seasonal pies with their award-winning New York-style thin crust pizza and has developed a solution to spread cheesy holiday cheer to your loved ones all the while helping those in need.

Order a pie, share a special message for the recipient and then sit back and relax. A delivery driver will arrive at the recipient’s home wearing a Santa hat and will play a special holiday tune on a festive kazoo before handing over a delicious pizza pie and a personalized holiday card with your message. The best part? A portion of the proceeds from each PIZZA SANTAGRAM will be donated directly to Harry Chapin Food Bank, the largest hunger-relief network in Southwest Florida.

In addition to the PIZZA SANTAGRAM promotion, Fine Folk Pizza has implemented additional strategies to better serve the community while sustaining end-of-the-year growth. With the purpose of spreading joy and goodwill this holiday season (and all year long), the celebrated “Dinner and Dough” experience is not one to miss. Families with children that dine on-site are treated to an interactive pizza tossing lesson made famous by America’s Funniest Home Videos. See the video below to watch!

Fine Folk has also placed a focus on their digital community. Their website, www.finefolkpizza.com, has recently been updated to improve the user experience, especially when it comes to their rewards program.

“We took a look at our rewards program, simplified it, freshened the graphics and made a specific landing page and a short web address to make it easy,” said Chris Batties owner and General Manager. “Official Fine Folk Pizza merchandise such as tin tumblers, gift cards, and collectible t-shirts are now available for purchase online, as well.”

To round out the end of the year the Folkswagen Food Truck is fully prepared to cater to end-of-the-year corporate events, private parties, fundraisers, weddings, and more with plans to expand the service area of the mobile pizza parlor in 2020.

“In recent years, food trucks have become a staple of many community and private events across the country,” said Brianne Chrisenberry owner and CFO. “The Folkswagen Food Truck has allowed us to expand our business and our brand in a modern way by providing our services to those in need of catering, and to those who do not utilize our on-site dining and delivery services– we are excited about serving every corner of Lee County and beyond in 2020.”
