While the program has struggled over the last few years, Simmons still sees talent on the roster. The offensive line is still clearly an issue, but Mike Norvell does have some pieces in place to work with. “I just think that this is another one of these teams, not to the extent of USC, but looking at the roster and seeing Tamorrion Terry , D.J. Matthews, and Khalan Laborn ,” Simmons said. “These guys are good players. So, does Mike Norvell have enough of a magic wand to come in and get these playmakers to make plays? I also like the way he recruited in terms of getting playmakers at important skill positions. Whether they’re ready right away is very much to be determined. Two quarterbacks.
