SEPTEMBER 15, 2020 – FORT MYERS, FLA – Florida SouthWestern State College (FSW) recently welcomed Dr. Michele Yovanovich as vice provost for Student Affairs. She will provide leadership for all FSW student life and housing, enrollment management and athletics.
This marks Dr. Yovanovich’s return to FSW. Previously, she served as district director for Student Development, coordinator of College-Student Relations and Marketing, and institutional test administrator and assessment counselor in the 1990s at then Edison Community College.
Prior to returning to FSW, Dr. Yovanovich served as assistant vice president for Campus Life and Dean of Students, director of Admissions and Recruitment, and director of Alumni Relations at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU).
Dr. Yovanovich is active in national organizations and an adjunct faculty member in the FGCU Master’s Program in the department of Leadership, Technology and Research. She received her A.A. from Central Florida Community College, B.A. from Stetson University, master’s degree from the University of Georgia and doctorate from Argosy University.
