Lehigh, Fla. – Goodwill is helping put Southwest Floridians back to work amid the pandemic. The organization is hosting an on-site community job fair on July 16, 2020 at the Lehigh Goodwill Community Resource Center (CRC) on July 16th, 2020. Over 30 positions are available immediately.
Many businesses are challenged replacing staff and hiring even though the unemployment rate is higher now than it was during the Great Recession. Everything from retail, customer service and warehouse is needed.
Applications are being accepted, and on-the-spot interviews will be conducted from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lehigh Goodwill located at 2825 Lee Blvd. by appointment only. Please call ahead due to limited capacity for CDC Guidelines Bring your resume and dress professionally.
Lee County Homeless Coalition is sponsoring the event with a $1,500 grant, which allows Goodwill to continue serving the needs of the community.
Job seekers are welcome to set appointments before and after the job fair. Goodwill CRC coordinators also provide support with job search skills, resume writing and upskilling. They offer digital skills training to help people build better computer skills for the future. Goodwill has CRC locations in Lee, Collier, Charlotte, and Hendry counties.
