K.C. Schulberg of Calusa Waterkeeper to speak at ABWA

Estero, Florida: The Imperial River Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) welcomes K.C. Schulberg, filmmaker and Executive Director of Calusa Waterkeeper. Meeting and presentation take place via Zoom, Wednesday, May 13th. Networking begins at 6:30 PM, followed by introductions and speaker. Registration is required but free. About the Speaker & Calusa Waterkeeper

K.C. Schulberg’s film-making experience spans multiple roles over three decades. His father, uncle, and grandfather were celebrated film executives. His sister is an independent producer. In addition to his work in film and television, Schulberg works pro bono on a variety of causes, including but not limited to women’s equality and environmental protection. As Calusa Waterkeeper’s Executive Director, Schulberg supports the organization’s efforts to protect local Southwest Florida waters through “education and promotion of responsible use and enjoyment by all people”. The organization also monitors for water quality issues in the Caloosahatchee River and Estuary, Estero Bay, Lake Okeechobee, Charlotte Harbor, and our beaches

About ABWA Imperial River Chapter

Formation of the Imperial River Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association began in 2016. A team from several other Southwest Florida chapters came together to serve the growing Estero/Bonita Springs area of Lee County, FL. ABWA Imperial River Chapter welcomes all women interested in professional development. Expect mutually supportive, life-long relationships with powerful professional women. Men are also welcome. The American Business Women’s Association national mission is to bring together businesswomen of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support, and national recognition.
