ORLANDO, Fla. — Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is asking travelers from the tri-state area to self-quarantine when they come to Florida. His request is not stopping people from flying to the Sunshine State. WESH 2 News looked into the latest travel numbers. According to the Florida Department of Transportation, 5,500 traveler forms have been collected from checkpoints located along I-10 and I-95. FDOT officials are also checking airports for travelers that are coming into Florida. So far, 13,500 traveler forms have been collected at Florida airports. Those travelers are supposed to self-quarantine for 14 days when they enter the state of Florida.
