Lee County Tax Collector creates two special days for payments
FORT MYERS, Fla. (May 6, 2020) – To make it easier for Lee County residents to renew vehicle registrations, the Lee County Tax Collector is creating two special “Single Payment Saturdays” on May 16 and May 23 only for vehicle registration renewals at select service centers.
The Single Payment Saturdays will be from 9 a.m. to noon at service centers located in downtown Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Bonita Springs, Lehigh Acres, North Fort Myers and South Fort Myers. No appointments are necessary, and transactions will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Those wanting more information about these select days can go to leetc.com/Saturday.
“We understand this is a difficult time for everyone and we wanted to provide convenient ways to help Lee County residents,” Lee County Tax Collector Larry Hart said. “We hope residents take advantage of these two Saturdays.”
During regular working hours Monday through Friday, the Lee County Tax Collector service centers are open to residents by appointment only from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Appointments can be made by visiting LeeTC.com and booking your preferred location, date, and time for your driver license, vehicle registration, and title work.
A call center also is available to residents where Lee County Tax Collector representatives will assist with information about driver licenses, vehicle registration renewals, vehicle titles, property taxes, tax certificates and other services. The call center number is 239-533-6000.
A new web chat feature also provides a quick way to get questions answered in real time. Representatives will assist customers with any service questions on the website LeeTC.com.
