Local Record Label Targets Emerging Artists with Talent Search
Move over American Idol, Fort Myers-based record label Creative Minds Records is hosting a talent search open to vocalists and vocal groups of all ages. In hopes of discovering Southwest Florida’s rising stars, the indie record label presents The CMR Talent Search, coming to
The Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre on September 18, 2018.
Presented in association with Miami’s Audio Vision Studios, the event spotlights aspiring artists and provides them with a stage to showcase their unique singing and songwriting capabilities in the genres of country, pop, rock, blues, R&B, and Christian.
Creative Minds Records is a local independent record label that provides a platform for musical artist’s development, recording, booking and promotion.
Talent Search participants are required to submit material for consideration prior to the event. The artists and musical groups selected by CMR executives will move on to the live performance stage of the competition to compete for a $2,500 cash prize and the chance to sign a record deal including marketing and distribution across the globe.
The Fort Myers community is invited to come out and enjoy the musical stylings of the area’s hottest singers and songwriters. Tickets are available online and at the door for $10. In addition to the talent search, a special guest will perform a surprise performance to close the show. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m at 1380 Colonial Blvd.
