FORT MYERS, Fla. – May 12, 2020 – Salon Adrian reopened on Monday, May 11 following its temporary, mandated closure amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The salon will operate in compliance with CDC guidelines and at a reduced capacity, allowing only 10 people (including staff) in the salon at a time.
To further protect the health of guests and employees, Salon Adrian has integrated additional safety policies. All stylists are required to wear a mask and gloves, as well as undergo temperature checks each day when arriving to work. In addition, the salon layout has been adjusted to accommodate six-foot social distancing standards and routine sanitization practices are being implemented throughout the day and between guests.
Upon arrival, guests are asked to text, call, or come to the door rather than wait inside due to capacity rules. Limited seating will be available outside or guests can wait in their car until their stylist is ready. They will receive a text or call when they’re able to enter and will also need to sign a waiver for service, wear a mask, and have their temperature checked before entering. Further, guests are asked to arrive on time and leave other guests, including children, at home.
Salon Adrian is contacting guests directly to reschedule appointments that were previously canceled and they’re accepting new appointment requests too. Though capacity is reduced, the salon will work to get guests scheduled as soon as possible.
