Six Bends™ Salutes Local First Responders, Military Personnel
Say “thank you” to local law enforcement officers, emergency medical technicians and other first responders at Six Bends’ Salute to the Brave. The appreciation event, hosted on Saturday, September 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., will honor all first responders and military personnel for their service. Activities will include an honor ceremony, demonstrations, a kids play area, Touch-A-Truck and more.
Sponsored in part by Six Bends Harley-Davidson, Lee County Sheriff’s Office and the South Trail Fire Protection & Rescue Service District, Salute to the Brave will begin with a ceremony to acknowledge our local emergency responders and service men and women. Throughout the afternoon, visitors can enjoy live entertainment by the Ben Allen Band, a variety of demonstrations, and get an inside look at first responder vehicles.
A play area for children will be available for families, as well as a variety of food and merchandise vendors. Parking and admission to the event is free, and all ages are welcome to attend.
