The American Advertising Federation-District 4 showcases cause advertising at their summer conference
FORT MYERS, Fla. (Sept. 28, 2020) — Four Southwest Florida-based marketing groups were among the winners recognized at the 2020 Angel Awards presented last Saturday evening by the American Advertising Federation-District 4 (AAF-District 4). The event was hosted at the recently opened Luminary Hotel in downtown Fort Myers. A total of seven awards were given to Southwest Florida firms, which hail from the organization’s AAF-Southwest Florida affiliate.
The Angel Award competition recognizes the best in public service advertising from across AAF-District 4, which is comprised of 18 local chapters throughout Florida and the Caribbean Islands. The awards combine two objectives of the AAF: to utilize industry expertise to address community issues, and to celebrate and honor advertising excellence.
Awards were presented to the following organizations:
- Priority Marketing won three Gold Angel Awards: for the Conservancy of Southwest Florida “Magic Under the Mangroves Fund-A-Need” video; for the “SalusCare Fund-A-Cause Video” campaign for SalusCare, and in cinematography for “Wulfert Bayous Land Acquisition Video” for the Ding Darling Wildlife Society,
- Conservancy of Southwest Florida won two Gold Angel Awards: for its poster series “Animal Speaker Campaign,” and for its video “A World Without Turtles,”
- Celsius Marketing | Interactive won a Gold Angel Award for its campaign “Bring New Hope to Hopeless Animals” for Cape Coral Animal Shelter and
- CONRIC pr+marketing won a Silver Angel Award for its TV PSA “Drive it Home Campaign” for Keep Lee County Beautiful.
AAF-SWFL President Tim Hennessy praised the winners, “We’re so proud to have this much talent in Southwest Florida.
