FORT MYERS BEACH, FL – A Memorial Day Weekend Kick Off Party will be lighting up Fort Myers Beach this Memorial Day Weekend providing locals and visitors the opportunity to sample music from nationally-recognized and local country music performers.
Presented by Dive Bar Country and the Merchants of Old San Carlos, the open-air concert and street party plays host to Nashville country music singer/songwriters Hayden Coffman, Bryce Mauldin, as well as ‘The Voice’ alum Sheena Brook and Unforgiven Country Band.
Fresh off the “New from Nashville Tour,” Hayden Coffman, Bryce Mauldin will perform their original music as well as country music favorites along with host Sheena Brook and local country rock band, Unforgiven.
The festivities kick off at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 24 Bayside Park on Old San Carlos Boulevard right next to Nervous Nellies on Fort Myers Beach.
Tickets are $20 and are available for purchase online and at the gate. All attendees will be given “Discount Passport” wristbands that will provide concert-goers with exclusive access to food and drink specials from the merchants on Old San Carlos Boulevard all weekend long.
Package proceeds to benefit the Lewis P. Tabarrini Children’s Music Outreach Foundation which provides musical instruments and music lessons to children in Southwest Florida who want to play music but do not have the resources to make their dreams come true. Hayden Coffman is a 21-year-old singer/songwriter from Knoxville, Tennessee. He was a semi-finalist in the Alan Jackson Road Show competition, which earned him the opportunity to play with the Grand Ole Opry house band in 2018. Earlier this year, Hayden opened for Confederate Railroad, Adairs Run and for Willie Nelson’s Granddaughter, Raelyn Nelson in West Hollywood, California at the world-famous Whisky a Go Go. His newest single “That’s Just Me” has tallied over 250,000 streams on Spotify and he plans to release another EP later this year.
Bryce is a 22-year-old from the small town of Webster, FL and got into music in 2016 by posting covers on social media. Both a singer and guitarist, Bryce has a built a fan base through his covers of popular country music songs like Thomas Rhett’s “Die a Happy Man” and Lee Brice’s “I Don’t Dance.” He frequently posts these videos on Instagram, where he has more than 90,000 followers. After moving to Nashville in 2017, Bryce got in the studio and recorded his debut single “All The Proof I Need.” Since, he has released his self-titled EP featuring fan favorite “Seeing Somebody Else.
Fort Myers Beach local Sheena Brook became known to American television audiences as a contestant on NBC’s The Voice in 2017. Though considered a country music singer/songwriter, Sheena Brook has created her own captivating sound by blending a variety of genres that leave audiences in awe. Sheena has played festivals with high-profile artists like Kristian Bush, Josh Turner, and Kevin Costner. Behind the scenes, she has had the pleasure of collaborating with hit writers such as JT Harding, Andy Albert and many more.
Unforgiven Country Band
Unforgiven is a high-energy country rock band established in 2013. Consisting of five talented musicians Michelle, DW, Rick, Reid and Pat, unforgiven has played at many venues, festivals and events across Florida. The band has also opened for legendary country artists Darryl Worley, Rhett Akins, Chad Brock, and others.
