Lehigh Acres Municipal Services Improvement District (Lehigh Acres MSID) will host its Annual Wings Over Water Festival (WOW) on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Harns Marsh, in Lehigh Acres, to help the public discover the beauty of southwest Florida’s water, land and wildlife. The festival will run from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday at Harns Marsh.
This educational, community event celebrates southwest Florida’s natural resources and included presentations from experts, an array of exhibits from local organizations, kids activities, food, guided walks and a rubber duck race.
Admission to the annual festival is free of charge due to the generosity of sponsors like: AIM Engineering and Surveying, Inc., Brown and Brown Public Risk Insurance Agency, Brian and Sara Cottrell; Caloosa Bird Club and the Southwest Florida Audubon Society and support from organizations like the Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club of Lehigh Acres and Coldwell Banker Preferred Properties.
The district will host a variety of on-site activities including lectures from experts; exhibitions by a variety of organizations, local businesses and local government agencies; children’s activities like face painting and games, and more. Steve Masek will be returning by popular demand to host two live animal presentations.
Coldwell Banker Preferred Properties will host the WOW Festival’s annual Rubber Duck Race to raise funds for the American Cancer Society. The Rotary Club of Lehigh Acres will host a farmers market with fresh fruits and veggies for sale. The Lehigh Acres Garden Club will be selling plants.

Getting there: From Lee Blvd. head north on Sunshine Blvd., turn left on Olive Ave. N. and then turn left on 38th St. W.; and continue to Harns Marsh.
