FORT MYERS, Fla. (Feb. 1, 2021) – Lee BIA Builders Care, the nonprofit charitable arm of the Lee Building Industry Association (BIA), has announced its 2021 board of directors, led by President P.J. Anzalone, Vice President Justin Thibaut, Secretary Annette Nilles, Treasurer Steve Krystyniak and Immediate Past President Dan Beiter.

Other members selected for the 2021 board include: Paul Beattie, Wendi Carroll, Phillip Ford, Michael Reitmann, Nathan Ritter, Ken Solmonson, Trevor Taulman, Charles Thornton and Jeff Underwood. Gregg Truxton, Esq., will serve as legal counsel to the board.

The board of directors assists Lee BIA Builders Care Executive Director Crystal Stouten in carrying out the organization’s mission of providing emergency construction services at no cost to needy and deserving elderly and/or disabled homeowners, and their families, who cannot obtain repairs through traditional means.

“As advocates, donors and supporters of the Builders Care mission, our board members play an essential role in furthering our impact within the community,” Stouten said. “Through their diverse industry knowledge and their devotion to our neighbors in need, Builders Care is equipped to help more families live safely and comfortably in their homes.”

Board members guide the nonprofit in selecting recipients for donated construction services and raising funds for projects, overseeing the agency’s operational and financial policies, and helping to plan and coordinate renovation projects and events.

To date, Lee BIA Builders Care has helped more than 450 Lee County households and provided over $4.8 million in emergency construction services and materials at no cost to families and local homeowners in need. To learn more, visit www.LeeBuildersCare.org.
