Sheriff Carmine Marceno offers a column on safety at the gas station. In these challenging times acts of theft and crimes of opportunity are on the rise. The Sheriff is warning all of us to be cautious and help yourself from being a victim of crimes at the gas station.
One of our county commissioners who is no stranger to Lehigh Acres/East Lee is Brian Hamman offers us an article on the progress of Lee County Government in serving the needs of our residents. Lee Government continues to work on infrastructure needs in our area and he cautions us on an unfortunate situation regarding how dangerous SR82 has become now that this highway has been modernized and expanded. He no doubt highlights careless and bad actors who speed, drive aggressively and cause deadly accidents. Now the Board of Commissioners will work with the Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Highway Patrol to ensure driving is safe along this highway.
