Dr. Irene Gladstein takes a natural, holistic approach

New York City eyelid surgeon Dr. Irene Gladstein has opened a new location on Naples’ Fifth Avenue South. The doctor began providing aesthetic and cosmetic procedures to Neopolitans from her new location on March 29, 2021.

Project Glammers takes a natural, holistic approach to beauty enhancement, creating individual plans for men and women to achieve the most beautiful version of themselves. The results are so natural that clients are more likely to hear the phrase “You look so well rested,” rather than comments on having work done.

“Over the years, we have learned that for the results to read as perfectly harmonized and balanced yet to look and feel like your own, every procedure needs to be carefully selected, artistically executed and administered in the right order and at the right time,” Dr. Gladstein says. “With our time tested protocols, you will look like yourself, only better.”

Dr. Gladstein opened her New York City practices in 2008, focusing on aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. She then shifted strictly to cosmetic procedures. Today, Project Glammers is ranked among the top 100 Sculptra and top 250 Allergan providers in the United States.

Having performed thousands of eyelid lifts, Dr. Gladstein has perfected an approach to upper eyelid surgery that results in quick recovery with minimal swelling and scarring, as well as a scarless lower lid surgery.

In addition to procedures designed to counter the usual aesthetic issues of aging, Project Glammers also offers services designed to prevent the effects of aging like collagen stimulating facial contouring, new generation PRP treatments for face and body and more.

On the noninvasive side, Project Glammers offers skin rejuvenation, skin tightening, RF resurfacing, treatments for redness and hyperpigmentation, laser hair removal and body contouring.

In addition to her medical experience, Dr. Gladstein has long had an artistic eye. Born and raised in Europe, she developed a love of art early. In addition to her pre-med studies at New York University, she also studied the history of fine arts with an emphasis on antiquities.

She earned her medical doctorate at New York University Grossman School of Medicine and completed her residency at New York University Medical Center and Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital. She also completed a fellowship in cosmetic and reconstructive oculoplastic surgery under the guidance of Dr. Janet Neigel.

As a member of the facial aesthetics faculty for Allergan for 10 years, Dr. Gladstein often trains others how to perform cosmetic injections safely and effectively. She’s a member of the Allergan Aesthetics Advisory Panel, serves on the board of the nonprofit Cosmetic Surgery Foundation and is a regular contributor to NewBeauty magazine.

Dr. Gladstein has been a part of the Naples community for several years as a part-time resident before deciding to stay full time in March 2020. Some of her best memories were made in Naples, she says.
