Leadership SWFL Class of 2023 Applications Open

Submitted By: Jenny Parrish

Early decision applications are open for Leadership SWFL, the region’s premier community immersion program dedicated to providing business professionals with a greater understanding of the community and creating a cohort of individuals ready to serve as effective leaders in the region. Individuals who apply by December 15, 2022, will be considered for early admission and receive a response by the first of the new year. For more information and to submit your application, visit SWFLinc.com/leadership-swfl-2023.

The primary objective of Leadership SWFL is to educate business professionals about the economic, demographic and societal resources and challenges in the region. Over eight months, Leadership SWFL fosters transformation among community champions with full-day exclusive experiences. Hands-on opportunities offered through this immersive experience challenge participants to delve into crucial components spanning Southwest Florida and explore diverse perspectives. Nine, full-day class sessions and an overnight retreat for the program will run from May through December 2023. Sessions include special tours and in-depth discussions on the topics of crime and justice, economic development, education and workforce, environment, government, healthcare, infrastructure and tourism.

“One of my favorite parts of this program is how quickly it brings the class of participants together,” said Tiffany Esposito, President and CEO of SWFL Inc. “On the first day of the retreat, everyone walks in looking a little nervous and maybe even skeptical about what they’ll gain from it. By dinner that night, these groups are the best of friends, laughing, swapping contact information and excited for the rest of the program.

If you’re looking to enjoy exclusive experiences, want to grow your network and are seeking a big-picture view of our region, apply for the Leadership SWFL Class of 2023.
