On October 26th, the Alva Museum welcomed residents from Alva and neighboring communities to the first annual Alva Fall Festival. The event was a tremendous success, enjoyed by over 200 attendees. Participants had the chance to roast hot dogs, make S’mores, go on hayrides, and explore a bake sale filled with homemade treats. Activities included trick-or-treating, scarecrow building, and more. The Alva Fire and Rescue District brought a firetruck, giving kids the opportunity to operate a fire hose. Jonesez BBQ was the perfect vendor for the event, serving their delicious BBQ to happy customers. The evening concluded with a cozy bonfire. It’s hard to say who had the most fun, but we are already looking forward to gathering again next year for the 2nd Annual Alva Fall Festival.

Be on the lookout for more events, and don’t forget to visit the Alva Library and Museum, open most Saturdays from 10 am–2 pm. facebook.com/alvamuseum.
