Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida and the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center (SBDAC) presents the 18th Annual Festival of Trees, December 5, 2024 to December 8, 2024. This annual fundraiser has become a holiday tradition in Southwest Florida for thousands of families. Publix Super Markets Charities is this year’s presenting sponsor with a financial gift of $17,500 to help make it possible.
The 4-day event ushers in the holidays at the SBDAC located at 2301 First Street in the River District of Fort Myers. Throughout the Festival of Trees event, the public can view the beautifully decorated trees, purchase raffle tickets, and vote for their favorites.
On the last day of the event, one winning ticket for each tree is selected, and is announced “live” on Facebook. The trees are then carefully wrapped with all their gifts and goodies, and are delivered to the winners’ homes thanks to Two Men and a Truck. It only takes one ticket to win. Raffle tickets can be purchased at the event or online.
In addition to the tree raffle, kids can enjoy Santa’s Block Party on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with crafts, pictures with Santa, Publix cookies to decorate, and entertainment.
In addition to Publix, sponsors this year include Onedigital, Home Depot, Suncoast, Two Men and a Truck, Wellcare, City of Fort Myers, and Lee County Supervisor of Elections.
Tickets to the event can be purchased in advance at: https://www.sbdac.com/. For Festival of Trees 2024 at a Glance visit: fortmyersfestivaloftrees.com
