Explore Estero Bay: Wading Trip Adventure

Step into the waters of Estero Bay and experience Florida’s estuarine life up close! The Estero Bay Aquatic Preserve invites you to a guided wading trip where you’ll explore mudflats and seagrass beds, collecting and observing fish, shrimp, crabs, and more.

Participants will use special nets and magnifiers to learn about the bay’s diverse ecosystem. Closed-toe shoes are required, and bringing water, snacks, and a change of clothes is recommended.
