At this year’s Chamber Gala many in the business community will come together to celebrate achievements, servant leadership, public service as well as community service in healthcare. Recently HCA FloridaHealthcare completed the purchase of Lehigh Regional Medical Center. It has been renamed HCA Florida Lehigh Hospital and now becomes part of the HCA Healthcare West Division – from Citrus County along to the south in Lee County. The stewards of the hospital have been moving fast with new and dynamic leadership – many who are well known and respected in the field of medical care. Needless to say the campus on Lee Blvd. will be updated and the hospital will engage the much needed specialty care services that a modern healthcare facility needs in a growing community.
Plans are in the process of a ribbon cutting and introduction to the community and we will keep you informed next month and will post on the East Lee County Chamber’s website and social media channels: www.eastleechamber.com. East Lee Students Take TallahasseeThirty middle school students and faculty members will be hosted at the Capitol by our area’s two state senators – Senate President Ben Albritton and Senate President Emerita Kathleen Passidomo. This program has been sponsored by the East Lee Chamber of Commerce. Our students will visit the Legislature and executive offices as well as the Supreme Court. Good luck students
