faucet - elcn

The City of LaBelle announces that, effective immediately,
fluoride will no longer be added to the municipal water supply.

This decision follows a comprehensive review of water treatment practices, community
feedback, and updated regulatory guidance. After careful consideration, city officials
determined that discontinuing the fluoridation process aligns with the evolving needs and
preferences of our residents while continuing to meet all state and federal water quality
standards.

The City of LaBelle is committed to delivering clean, safe, and high-quality drinking water to
all residents. Fluoride will no longer be added to our water, but the supply remains
thoroughly treated and tested to ensure safety and compliance with all applicable health
regulations.

The City of LaBelle remains dedicated to transparency and public health and will continue to
provide updates regarding any changes to the municipal water system.

Sincerely,
City Commission
