Ahead of the August 18, 2026 primary election, the League of Women Voters of Lee County, inc. offers the nonpartisan voter education tool VOTE411.org. This “one-stop shop” for election information provides Lee County voters with information on where candidates stand on issues and tools to help navigate the voting process. VOTE411 provides personalized candidate information, voter registration details, polling place locations, and other helpful election information for all voters nationwide.

In the August 18th Primary Election, voters will elect the Lee County Commissioner District 5, School Board Members for Districts 1 and 6, 20th Circuit Judges and a Lee County Judge. In addition, Bonita Springs voters will decide on a Bond Referendum for the Bonita Estero Rail Trail (BERT). Cape Coral voters will determine candidates for the general election and decide three Cape Coral City Charter amendments. Party voters will determine who advances to the general election.
All eligible voters, including those without a party affiliation, may vote in the Primary Election. All primary ballots will include nonpartisan races. Ballots for voters with a party affiliation will include their party’s candidates.
