Koreshan State Park Field Trip

2024 Christmas Bird Count (CBC)
Join this longstanding tradition to help collect vital data on bird populations. Small groups will count birds within designated 10-mile circles, contributing to a global citizen science effort.
CBC Preparation:
Enhance your bird identification skills by attending our free field trips and shorebirding walks leading up to the CBC.

Weekly Shorebirding Walks
Join Edwin Wilke and Yohn Villalta for engaging shorebird walks, open to all experience levels. Meet fellow bird lovers and hone your shorebird ID skills!
Details:
- Time: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
- Cost: Free and open to the public
- What to Bring: Binoculars or camera, water, snacks, bug spray, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, and appropriate footwear for mudflats.
