Iconic Florida Shopping Center Partners with Comfort Keepers for an Evening of Food, Music and Fun

Bell Tower, a landmark shopping, dining and entertainment destination centrally located in Fort Myers, Florida (https://www.belltowerfl.com), has brought back its popular “Senior Prom,” an evening of food, music and fun for area senior citizens. Sponsored by the Fort Myers branch of Comfort Keepers, an organization dedicated to providing superior in-home care for seniors and adults needing assistance, the Bell Tower Senior Prom will take place on Saturday, February 17th, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the shopping center’s Center Court. For downloadable photos from the last prom for senior citizens held at Bell Tower, visit https://bit.ly/3Hj4CMY.

“Bell Tower is proud to bring back its popular Senior Prom, an event that gives local senior citizens an opportunity to share a festive evening with someone they love or a group of close friends, taking part in something special designed just for them,” says Jim Brennan, general manager for the shopping center. “We encourage seniors over 55 years of age from Fort Myers and the surrounding areas to join us for this incredible evening, which is free of charge and the center’s way of recognizing the important role senior citizens play in our community.”

The Bell Tower Senior Prom will give senior citizens a special night out with the one they love or with a group of best friends. Themed “A Starry Night,” the event will feature free entry for all attendees over 55 years of age, complimentary valet parking, live musical entertainment throughout the evening, food provided by Bell Tower restaurants and eateries, and complimentary corsages or boutonnieres for the first 50 guests. A prom king and queen will be announced at the conclusion of the event, and there will be a number of “Instagrammable” photo moments as well as a photo booth presented by Photo Magic for attendees to enjoy. While not required, guests are encouraged to dress in formal attire.

“The Bell Tower Senior Prom is an ingenious way to recognize senior citizens and a wonderful opportunity for them to get out, get dressed up, and enjoy and evening created specifically with them in mind,” says Dawn Pudlin, general manager of Comfort Keepers. “Together with assistance from Comfort Keepers and other local sponsors, Bell Tower has generously created this event to honor our area seniors and has made it free and accessible to all.”

In addition to Comfort Keepers, a second sponsor, the Gulf Coast Humane Society, will be on site with adoptable senior dogs; when the human prom king and queen are announced, a pair of dogs will also be crowned king and queen of the canine attendees. This event is free and open to the public; no pre-registration is required.
