Get ready to reel in the fun at the Lee County 4-H Foundation’s Annual Catch and Release Fishing Tournament on May 3, 2025! This exciting family-friendly event isn’t just about fishing—it’s about supporting local 4-H youth.
Anglers of all ages can compete in divisions including Shiner Angler (7 & under), Youth Angler (8-17), Adult Angler (18+), and Top Team (up to four participants). This saltwater tournament kicks off at safe daylight, with participants fishing from shore, bridges, piers, or boats. Winners will be determined by the total length of their best catches of 1 redfish, 2 trout, and 1 mystery fish. Prizes are awarded at the 4:30 p.m. awards and raffle at the North Fort Myers 4-H Office, which is open to everyone, even if you do not participate as an angler.
The tournament is open to the public—no 4-H membership required! Your entry fee includes a dri-fit tournament shirt, meal ticket, and tournament bag. Plus, don’t miss out on the food, raffles, and community fun at the awards ceremony. Sign up by April 18th to secure a dry-fit shirt, however you can sign up later.
Proceeds from the event directly benefit the Lee County 4-H Foundation Scholarship Fund, helping local 4-H youth pursue higher education. Whether you’re an avid angler or just love to support a great cause, now’s the time to register as an angler or become a sponsor!
