The Lehigh Acres Rotary is bringing the Josh the Otter Water Safety and Literacy Project to the Lehigh Acres Fire Control and Rescue District’s Station 102 for an educational morning on water and fire safety. Children will read and receive a Josh the Otter book about water safety and also learn about fire safety with a presentation from the firefighters. Parents can expect the event to last approximately 1 hour and need to plan to stay on-site with their children. The target audience for this presentation is children under the age of 9. Please only reserve a ticket for your child, parents do not need a ticket (this helps us track how many books we need for the event).

The US Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 94 will also be joining us to provide information on boating safety and give children the opportunity to try on life jackets so they understand their importance.

Please reserve a free ticket for your child (accompanying adults do not need a ticket). If we fill up this class we will add additional dates.

This event is scheduled for Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Station 102 (44 Homestead Rd S) at 10:00am.
