Lee County Parks & Recreation reminds swimmers of a delayed opening at San Carlos Community Pool

Lee County Parks & Recreation is reminding swimmers that the San Carlos Community Pool, 8208 Sanibel Blvd., Fort Myers, will have a delayed opening on Friday, July 4.

The pool will open at noon and remain open until 5 p.m. The delayed start allows pool staff to participate in the annual San Carlos Park Fourth of July Parade.

Other area pools open on July 4 include:

  • Lehigh Acres Community Pool, 1400 W. Fifth St., Lehigh Acres. Opens at 11 a.m. Friday.
  • North Fort Myers Community Pool, 5170 Orange Grove Blvd., North Fort Myers. Opens at 11 a.m. Friday.
  • Pine Island Community Pool, 5675 Sesame Drive, Pine Island. Opens at 10 a.m. Friday.

Notices have been posted at the San Carlos site to inform patrons of the schedule change.
