NAPLES, Fla. (March 15, 2021) – Hole Montes has completed site planning and utilities work for the newly opened Tribby Arts Center at Shell Point Retirement Community.

The two-story, 44,000-square-foot Tribby Arts Center is a performing arts center dedicated to visual and performing arts, as well as educational programming. The building includes a grand entrance and atrium gallery, 400-seat auditorium, art gallery, practice rooms for musicians, gift shop, café, sculpture garden and studios for painting, crafts, pottery, quilting, textiles, stained glass and photography.

Hole Montes provided new utility services for the project, which included relocating the existing public water main, designing sanitary systems, creating stormwater basins, accommodating gas service and developing a plan for a private chiller. The firm also relocated fire, irrigation and force mains, as well as FPL conduits. Hole Montes was responsible for an 11.4-acre site plan that included 203 parking spaces for vehicles and golf carts, as well as the building itself.

“The Tribby Arts Center will be a cultural and educational hub for Shell Point residents, as well as the entire community,” said Bob Mulhere, president of Hole Montes. “We’re especially proud to have a role in developing a site that will be home to art shows, concerts, theatrical performances, lectures and other special events.”

Hole Montes’ lead designers for the Tribby Arts Center were Tyler Bonnough and Byron Taylor. Project partners included Gates Construction as general contractor, Stantec as landscape architect, Christopher J. Lee Architects as building architect and Fiber Solutions to oversee fiberoptics.
