Local Tech College Offers Pipeline To Skilled Labor For Manufacturers
Submitted By: Josh Milton
It doesn’t seem today’s labor issues are going away anytime soon. Manufacturing companies need to think differently about how to obtain a skilled workforce. iTECH and their Center for Manufacturing Excellence (CME), are a great Southwest Florida resource, offering a pipeline of new hires and a place to upskill your current workforce. On Feb. 4, iTECH CME is providing a tour of the school, followed by free lunch and an open discussion between manufacturers and iTECH CME program directors.
Gone are the days when you post an ad with the required skills and the resumes come rolling in. Competition is no longer the company selling products in your market space, but it also encompasses every business down the street trying to hire from the same labor pool as you, including your current employees. Learn what iTECH offers and how to meet current demand of the marketplace On Feb. 4, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at 4945 Golden Gate Pkwy, #113, in Naples.
