Dr. Greg Adkins, Superintendent of Lee County Schools, will be the featured speaker at the Friday, April 16, Fort Myers Republican Women’s luncheon. Adkins will discuss “The State of Our Schools.” A question-and-answer session will follow their formal presentations.
The public is invited to attend the luncheon and the program, which will be held at the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre in Fort Myers.
A social hour begins at 11:15 a.m.; attendees may begin going through the mini buffet line at any time. The program begins at 12:00 noon. The luncheon cost is $20.00. Parking is free and the Broadway Palm follows all CDC guidelines; tables are arranged for proper social distancing and hand sanitizer is provided in numerous locations. Those attending are expected to wear masks; temperatures are taken at the door.
2021 FMRWC membership is available at $25.00. Associate members (men) may join at $15. Checks may be paid at the luncheon meeting or sent to Tina Laurie at 5260 S. Landings Dr., Fort Myers, FL 33919.
