Dear Friends and Community Family, I hope this note finds each of you well and enjoying the beautiful weather we are having, can you believe we are already halfway through November!! Christmas is upon us!!
We here at the Lehigh Salvation Army stand ready to assist in any way we can. We can’t do it alone, it takes us all working together!! We need your help. There are so many ways in which you can help us help those coming to us for assistance every day. We need canned goods and non-perishable food items to replenish our Emergency Food. Canned meats are a great need. We are getting requests for help paying for Medication, help with bus passes, gas, and so many other necessities. We have some wonderful people in our Community of Lehigh Acres, who support us, and make it possible to continue to have the resources to serve those who come to us with various needs. Our resources are running low and we don’t want to turn anyone away if they have a legitimate need. We need your help… We could use Gift Cards to help with various needs. We have signed up over 300 families for our Toy and Food Distribution. We are in need of toys. That is why a lot of children will wake up to gifts under the tree—because we are making it possible.
If you are in a position to help with any of the things I have mentioned, or perhaps, you are able to make a monetary donation (tax-deductible), be assured your support will go a long way in allowing us to fill the needs and requests of those who are not able to provide for their families at this time.
