Cadets at the Lehigh Acres Fire Control and Rescue District are wearing new, state-of-the-art fire helmets thanks to an equipment donation from the Municipal Equipment Company (MECO Fire). This donation has a meaningful impact on the program, providing the cadets with the necessary equipment to train safely, participate in competitions, and prepare for fire school. “We appreciate MECO Fire’s support of our Cadet program,” stated Chief DiLallo. “The success of this program is owed to the firefighters who volunteer their time as advisors and the local businesses and community members who help support them.”
