Come join us for a late afternoon of mixing and dancing! Yes, we said dancing!… SWFL Business Network introduces Aki’s Dance Studio to the family of participating businesses. Save the date for a unique event, Monday, May 2nd from 4:30- 6:30. Snacks and beverages provided.
Aki’s is an independent ballroom, family owned and operated business in SW Florida for over 38 years and hosts the largest floating ballroom floor in the area. Aki’s specializes in Social and Competitive Ballroom dancing, both private and group class lessons and weekly/monthly parties and events. All dances from Salsa to Viennese Waltz to hustle are taught!
Bruce are Karen are professional instructors trained in American and International styles. Both have competed nationally. Karen has taught the world recognized Dancing Classrooms program in Lee County Florida.
Our hosts Bruce and Karen promise a fun event with a brief introductory lesson. While ballroom dancing is fun and great exercise, studies have also shown the tremendous health benefits of dancing to include increased cognitive and memory skills, improved balance, posture, and flexibility and slowing of the progression of Parkinson’s and dementia.
