Seventy years is a long, long time—especially for a pizza shop! Our good friend and historian, Cesar Becerra, is on a quest to bite down on some delicious pizza and, in fact, SHARE SOME SLICES WITH US. While we snack, he’ll serve up some tasty details about the history of this legacy pizza establishment.
Join us this Sunday, February 2nd, at 3:30 PM at our ‘Little Yellow House’ on the campus of the Alliance for the Arts for an afternoon of history, food, and fun.
Cesar is also bringing along copies of the newly released second edition of his book about Frankie’s, a historic pizza shop originally built at the edge of the Everglades. He will be selling and signing copies, with $7 from each sale generously donated to the Southwest Florida Historical Society.
📍 Location: The Southwest Florida Historical Society, 10091-A McGregor Blvd., on the campus of the Alliance for the Arts.
