Please join us Thursday, April 10th @ 7pm at the Collaboratory. We welcome Lee County Librarian Rebecca Schwandt who will present a program on Weeki Wachee Springs. History alumna Rebecca Schwandt discovered her passion through preserving the history of Weeki Wachee Springs. Now a state park, Weeki Wachee opened in 1947 as a roadside attraction in Hernando County, FL, presenting women wearing fish tails and other fanciful outfits in underwater acrobatics. The presentation begins at 7pm at The Collaboratory 2031 Jackson Street. Light refreshments will be served beginning at 6:45 PM.
