The Preserve Welcomes Ryan Keller As Executive Director

Ryan-Keller

FORT MYERS, Fla. (March 25, 2021) —Ryan Keller, NHA, has been named the new Executive Director for The Preserve, a skilled nursing and assisted living community in Fort Myers.

Keller is transferring from within the Volunteers of America organization after serving as the Associate Executive Director for Homestead at Anoka in Minnesota since 2012. With his nine years of senior living management, his knowledge and leadership will make him an asset to The Preserve’s mission of bringing the best quality of life to elderly residents.

As Associate Executive Director, Keller was responsible for the day-to-day operations of a 120-bed rehabilitation and living center for Homestead at Anoka. He managed a team of 15 department directors, and an admissions department that handled approximately 1,000 admissions a year. In addition, Keller was also responsible for overseeing the efforts of Homestead at Coon Rapids, which consisted of 54 assisted living apartments.

Keller is a University of Wisconsin Eau-Claire graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration. His education and experience in the field brings expertise in leadership, budgeting, regulatory compliance, communication and customer service.

Outside of the office, Keller enjoys spending time outdoors, golfing and hanging out with his one-year-old daughter, Claire. He and his wife, Katie, are expecting their second child in late July.

“The Preserve is excited to welcome Keller and his growing family as they move cross-country to Lee County in late March,” said Kevin Ahmadi, Regional Vice President of Operations, Volunteers of America Southwest Florida. “In addition to his expertise in senior living, Ryan’s experience working within the Volunteers of America family will serve us well as we continue to expand our footprint serving seniors in Southwest Florida.”
